We care about the safety and well-being of our agents, staff, and clients. Our leadership team continues to hold Crisis Management meetings each Monday to review current pandemic information and guidelines. We are committed to taking the necessary precautions to keep our associates and community safe.
With the Coronavirus threat still present, we are in a new environment where real estate is not business as usual. Our company has adapted quickly to support our buyer and seller clients in creative ways as we do our part to flatten the curve and support social distancing recommendations of the CDC.
At Newcastle Realty, we have transitioned our 20 brokers to work 100% remotely in an effort to provide you with the same quality service while doing our part to limit social contact. Our agents are following strict Guidelines for Real Estate to promote social distancing, sanitizing and disinfecting, and wearing cloth masks when meeting face-to-face. We have technology that allows us to continue our work virtually, with video chat, electronic signatures, and Matterport 3D virtual tours.
We plan to serve our clients throughout this crisis with care and respect while putting safety first.
For Sellers:
-
We can provide an opinion of value in the way most comfortable for you – in person or by video conference.
-
We already work with DocuSign electronic signature technology and will provide this option.
-
We can create showing videos or set up appointment-only showings with limited numbers.
-
Our agents carry protective foot booties and cloth masks, and are cognizant of best health and safety practices when showing your home and will be respectful of your perspective.
For Buyers:
-
If you are interested in seeing a property your Newcastle Realty agent can provide a virtual walk-through for you to view from the safety of your home.
-
We can schedule a private in-person tour of a home, while practicing social distancing measures.
-
Your Newcastle Realty agent will walk you through the home buying process step by step in person, by phone, by email, or by video conference.
-
Pre-closing final walk through can be done either in person or by virtual tour.
-
Ready to close – your mortgage company and closing attorney will arrange what is comfortable for you – power of Attorney if acceptable, or in-person meetings in a sanitized environment.
-
Given the situation, we expect delays. We suggest extending dates on Purchase & Sale agreements and choosing longer rate locks with lenders.
This situation is ever-changing and the Newcastle Realty team is in daily communication to make sure we are doing our part to flatten the curve while servicing our clients to the best of our ability.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me directly. Thank you, and be safe.
